T.P Rajeevan's novel paleri manikyam based on the movie
Paleri Manikyam movie same name of novel.Meg star Mammooty and Renjith rejoining movie paleri manikyam. The novel was serialised before in a Malayalam weekly.Mammooty a double role in director Ranjit's movie paler manikyam(oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Kadha). Haridas(Mammooty) a private detactive, is investigating the murder of yong woman manikyam.which happened over 50 years back Manikyam was killed a few days after her marriage
This case 53 years old.Haridas is assisted by Sarayu Sharma(Gowri Munjal),a criminologist, in the investigation. The investigation into the killing was stopped at that time, due to the lack of convincing evidences.The case was closed since there was no clue and no suspects were found. The incident happened in a place called ‘Paleri’ near Kozhikode.
